La Universidad Veracruzana<\/strong> se honra en darles la bienvenida al IUFRO 16th Conference on Root & Stem Rots of Forest Trees<\/span>, que se celebrar\u00e1 en Xalapa, Veracruz, M\u00e9xico<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Este encuentro internacional reunir\u00e1 a la comunidad cient\u00edfica y t\u00e9cnica dedicada al estudio de las enfermedades de ra\u00edces y tallos en un contexto marcado por el cambio clim\u00e1tico<\/strong>, la intensificaci\u00f3n del comercio<\/strong> y la creciente\u00a0 vulnerabilidad <\/strong>de los ecosistemas forestales.<\/p>\n

La conferencia convocar\u00e1 a investigadores, profesionales de la sanidad forestal, estudiantes, representantes del sector productivo, tomadores de decisiones y miembros de la sociedad civil, promoviendo un di\u00e1logo interdisciplinario<\/strong> orientado a fortalecer la comprensi\u00f3n cient\u00edfica y el manejo sostenible de los bosques.<\/p>\n

M\u00e9xico y Am\u00e9rica Latina ofrecen escenarios estrat\u00e9gicos para analizar la din\u00e1mica de pat\u00f3genos forestales en regiones megadiversas.<\/p>\n

El programa incluir\u00e1 conferencias magistrales<\/strong>, presentaciones orales<\/strong>, sesiones de p\u00f3ster<\/strong> y visitas t\u00e9cnicas<\/strong>, favoreciendo el intercambio directo entre ciencia, territorio y gesti\u00f3n forestal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Esta reuni\u00f3n est\u00e1 dirigida a aquellos profesionistas y estudiantes interesados en el \u00e1mbito forestal, particularmente en aspectos relacionados con la salud forestal de la ra\u00edz y el tallo.<\/div>\n

Universidad Veracruzana<\/strong> is honoured to welcome you to the IUFRO 16th Conference on Root & Stem Rots of Forest Trees<\/span>, to be held in Xalapa, Veracruz, M\u00e9xico<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This international gathering will bring together the scientific and technical community dedicated to the study of root and stem diseases in a context shaped by climate change<\/strong>, the intensification of global trade<\/strong>, and the growing vulnerability<\/strong> of forest ecosystems.<\/p>\n

The conference will convene researchers, forest health professionals, students, representatives of the productive sector, policy makers, and members of civil society, fostering an interdisciplinary dialogue<\/strong> aimed at strengthening scientific understanding and the sustainable management of forests.<\/p>\n

Mexico and Latin America offer strategic settings for analysing the dynamics of forest pathogens in megadiverse regions.<\/p>\n

The programme will include keynote lectures<\/strong>, oral presentations<\/strong>, poster sessions<\/strong>, and technical field visits<\/strong>, encouraging direct exchange among science, territory, and forest management.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
