Introduction

 
Should is a modal verb. It can not be used as a principal verb, but as a helping one. Should is used to express advice.
You should rest = It is a right thing to rest.


Should
does not change its form for third person singular. It is always written in the same way.

We should
They should

.


She should rest.

The negative form of should is shouldn't.

You have a backache. You shouldn't do exercises.
