Audio: Script Carolina: Hi, What´s your name? I am Carolina. John: Nice to meet you, my name is John. Carolina: Nice to meet you John. So, are you new at school? John: Yes, my family and I arrived in the country last month. Carolina: Where are you and your family from? John: We are from Australia, my father had to come to this country for his job. Are you American? Carolina: Yes, we were born here, in the United States. Tell me, how big is your family? John: We are four people: My parents, my sister and I. Carolina: Your family is smaller than mine. There are more people in my family: My parents, my three brothers and I. By the way, which is the biggest city in Australia? John: It is Brisbane. Carolina: I thought it was Sidney. John: Sidney and Melbourne are more populated than Brisbane, but I am sure Brisbane is bigger than Sydney. Carolina: All right, that´s good to know. Do you practice any sports? John: Yes, I love soccer. My favorite team is Manchester United, the Red Devils. What is the most popular soccer team in the USA? Carolina: I think, it is Los Angeles Galaxy or Los Angeles FC. But I am not sure. The most popular sport here is basketball. My favorite team is Los Angeles Lakers. John: In Australia most people practice rugby. I believe soccer is not as popular as basketball here in the States. Carolina: Actually, there is a soccer team here at school. In case you want to join the team, you can ask Mr. O´brien, he is the coach of the team. John: Thank you very much. Carolina: You´re welcome. Ok, John, I have to go to class.
