This line deals with the study of the physiology of living beings from a molecular, cellular, tissue and whole organism level, as well as the interactions with their environment and the possible pathologies caused by endogenous alterations or caused by other organisms. In this way, this LGAC addresses questions concerning the normal and pathophysiology of organisms based on different disciplines such as immunology, microbiology, pharmacology, neurosciences, neuropsychology, in order to perform a more specific approach. This LGAC develops physiology projects focused on cell division, neurosciences, neurobiology of circadian rhythms, neuropsychology, as well as various important pathologies in public health such as cancer, infectious diseases, influenza, tuberculosis, amebiasis, Chagas disease, mycosis, inflammatory processes, also autoimmune and cardiovascular diseases, among others.
