Lines of research
Neuropharmacology and Neurochemical Behavior. In this line of research, we seek to generate knowledge about the neurochemical, neurophysiological, neuropharmacological, neuroendocrine, and behavioral bases of affective disorders, as well as the formation of affects.
Neurobiology and Neurophysiology Behavior. This line of research aims to determine the morphological and physiological changes that underlie the different reproductive and developmental stages, such as pregnancy and lactation, among others.
Behavioral Biology. This line of research seeks to understand the adaptive meaning of animal behavior. To find and understand the mechanisms involved in the execution of the behavior, from the point of view mainly proximal, although they are considered ontogenic and evolutionary aspects.
