Welcome

Welcome

The University of Veracruz and the Faculty of Anthropology welcome you and invite you to get to know the Specialization in Forensic Physical Anthropology.

The relevance of the academic program Specialization in Forensic Physical Anthropology is oriented toward assisting in the processes of human identification by identifying the biological profile via osteological remains, which provides relevant data, such as sex, age, height, and individualizing characteristics. Additionally, the collection and analysis of biometric data, while maintaining high ethical and humanistic standards, contribute to addressing the problem of missing persons and human identification, while utilizing a comprehensive focus within a multi- and interdisciplinary approach.

Additionally, with our website we seek to establish a bridge of communication with applicants, students, and graduates. This allows us to maintain a constant connection with the wider academic community.

We cordially invite you to explore our website and share your suggestions and comments with us.

Sincerely,

Dr. Margarita Meza Manzanilla

Coordinator, Specialization in Forensic Physical Anthropology
