Welcome to our website! The Master in Biological Sciences (MaCBio) is a program that arises from the need to generate knowledge about systemic biology and biocultural studies from scientific research. In Mexico, less than 1% of the economically active population conducts scientific research, which limits the country in its contribution to the production of knowledge in the world.
This digit doesn’t cover the need in the training of human resources of excellence for the current and future needs of national development (PND 2013-2018). Likewise, the promotion of state and national research seeks to train competitive human resources internationally.
With the ability to handle:
- Biological and ecological problems from a multidisciplinary perspective;
- Research basic to learn how environmental, biological and cultural factors are relate;
- The design and proposal of natural resource management plans, based on scientific criteria and the interests of the society with which they interact.
