As in previous years, accepted papers will be published in the series &#8220;Advances in Artificial Intelligence&#8221; of Springer-Verlag LNAI.<\/p>\n<p>Topics may include but are not limited to the following:<br \/>\nAmbient Intelligence<br \/>\nAI in Education, Affective Computing, and Human-Computer Interaction<br \/>\nComputer Vision<br \/>\nBio-inspired computing<br \/>\nInformation and Knowledge Processing<br \/>\n\/ Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining<br \/>\nApplications of AI<br \/>\nKnowledge Engineering, Knowledge<br \/>\nRepresentation and Probabilistic Reasoning<br \/>\nMachine Learning<br \/>\nAgent-based Modelling and Simulation<br \/>\nMulti-Agent Systems<br \/>\nNatural Language Processing<br \/>\nPlanning and Scheduling<br \/>\nFuzzy Systems<br \/>\nRobotics<\/p>\n<p>Papers must be written in English, and will be reviewed on the basis of their relevance, significance of the contribution, originality, technical soundness, quality and clarity.<br \/>\nPaper submission details<\/p>\n<p>Submitted papers must not exceed 12 pages, including all tables, figures, and references and are required to be formatted in the Springer LNCS format (see\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.springer.de\/comp\/lncs\/authors.html\">http:\/\/www.springer.de\/comp\/lncs\/authors.html<\/a>). Submissions over twelve pages will be rejected without review. Papers must be submitted through the EasyChair Conference System at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=iberamia2014\">https:\/\/www.easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=iberamia2014<\/a>. The conference is organized in several areas, so the authors should choose to submit the paper to the most appropriate area for their work.<\/p>\n<p>All submissions will go through a peer review process, with independent PC members reviewing each submission. Reviewing will be blind, so author names and affiliations must be omitted from the submission, using instead the unique tracking number assigned by the conference system at the time of submission.
