Line of Research:
We are dedicated to developing polymeric matrices and advanced composite materials with potential applications in the industrial sector, including paints, food, medicine, energy, and the environment.

LGC in my research group:
Polymeric composite materials, polymeric coatings, materials for energy harvesting devices, chemical modification of surfaces and encapsulation of active agents, Molecular Docking study, Peptides, and knowledge in characterization of polymeric materials.

My goal is to contribute to advancing science and technology by creating and characterizing innovative materials with medical, environmental, and electronic applications.


Research  Specific Areas:

1.) Polymers and Biopolymers: My passion lies in the creation, improvement, and characterization of polymeric and biopolymeric materials for applications that address contemporary challenges in industry, medicine, and health.

a)  Degradability and antimicrobial properties:
b)  Study of Bioactive Compounds: Research on compounds with relevant biological properties.
c)  Antimicrobial Studies: Evaluation of the antimicrobial activity of various compounds.
d)  Toxicity assessment: Analysis of the toxicity of compounds and evaluation of their safety.

2.) Materials for Energy Harvesting Devices: I develop advanced solutions for efficient energy capture and conversion, contributing to a more sustainable future.

3.) Organic Chemistry: My expertise in organic chemistry allows me to design and synthesize innovative compounds that drive the creation of new materials.

a)   Peptide Chemistry: Research in peptide synthesis with a focus on structural and functional diversity.
b)   Chiral Insecticide Synthesis: Developing insecticides with high selectivity and efficacy using asymmetric synthesis methods.

4.) Nanoparticle Surface Modification: In collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, I focus on surface modification of nanoparticles for various industrial applications, such as coatings, paints, and medicine.
