EpIG

EpIG: Large scale patterns of vascular epiphyte assemblages

Goal: Consolidating and publishing datasets on tropical epiphyte diversity (composition and abundance) to highlight and conceptually advance the field of epiphyte research.

Hypothesis: This initiative will establish a multidisciplinary international collaboration and make use of these datasets to assess beta diversity of vascular epiphyte assemblages (VEAs) across the Neotropics, in order to connect the spatial structure of VEAs to ecological processes behind their diversity.
