Graduate Profile of the Industrial Engineering Education Program

Upon completion of their studies the Industrial Engineer will have the following competences:

  • Design, redesign, implement, optimize and maintain manufacturing, commercial and service processes.
  • Integrate the techniques of Industrial Engineering and Information and Communication technologies to the aforementioned activities, to ensure that they are carried out within the framework of productivity, quality management, technical regulations, ethics, legal, ecological, safety, health labor, sustainability and continuous improvement, which lead to obtain the greatest benefits to the organization where he works professionally and to society in general.
  • Form and integrate inter and multidisciplinary work teams for the definition, development and implementation of Strategic Plans, for the achievement of organizational objectives and goals.
  • Generate and evaluate the feasibility and profitability of new business projects, with a critical, creative, entrepreneurial and supportive attitude.
  • Carry out their professional and personal activities in such a way that they manifest their high degree of responsibility, honesty, participation and tolerance.
  • To preserve the self-learning process that allows it to adapt to the constant changes derived from globalization and develop with it innovative solutions that increase the competitive advantages of organizations.
