Permanent profile in the PE of Mechanical Engineering

Permanence profile.

The study of the discipline of mechanical engineering requires that the individual be able to apply methods, techniques and skills acquired in the classroom, to be able to solve the problems in any situation that they arise. The foregoing is achieved with a solid disciplinary training in:

  • New materials.
  • Computer Aided Design (CAD).
  • Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM).
  • Bioengineering, ETC.

The current situation requires professionals in the area of engineering capable of generating, implementing and securing the operation of technological innovations to extend the modernization of the industry, the globalization of the economy, the care of the environment and the Technological self-sufficiency. Special emphasis should be placed on having modern laboratories that allow the student to graduate with sufficient knowledge to solve the problems posed by the current situation. These laboratories may include:

  • Metal forming and cutting laboratory.
  • Thermofluid Laboratory.
  • Materials Laboratory.
  • Metrology Laboratory.
  • Physics and Electronics Lab.
  • Automation Lab.
  • Computer centers and classrooms that must have application programs in engineering.

Based on the foregoing, we must form the set of knowledge of the academic program (experiences and educational activities), which should be expressed in the curriculum of the career of electrical mechanical engineering that allows to have The human resources of quality to satisfy the demand that of the discipline make the society as a whole.
