MASTER DEGREE IN LEARNING MANAGEMENT

Welcome to the website of the Master Degree in Learning Management.

On this website, you will find information about entry requirements and admission processes. We also present our study program, graduated generations, research lines and the academic staff that are part of the Basic Academic Core (BAC).

The learning management master degree is a professionalizing postgraduate program which purpose is to contribute to the professional development of teachers through the analysis of their individual and collective experiences, so they can practice a solid way to communicate and generate new educational perspectives that, besides consolidating positive results, can help them achieve relevant pedagogical actions to provide a high quality education.

This is a program under development approved by the University Council on November 28th, 2011. By January 2023, there have been six graduated generations with a total of 82 students, accomplishing 88% of effectively graduated enrolments.

This postgraduate program belongs to the National Postgraduate System (SNP, in spanish) of the National Council of Science and Technology (CONAHCyT, in spanish) until  2023. Scholarships are requested and processed through the Coordination of this program. The amount of the scholarship is granted by the agency itself, as long as the applicants comply with the terms and requirements established in the call and will be conditioned to the availability of CONAHCyT´s budget.

Description of the Program

The study program is divided by basic Educational Experiences, Elective Experiences and Intervention Projects, besides the execution of two Progress Presentation Forums. The development of the Intervention Project results into a thesis degree work which is begun in the second semester.

The Intervention Projects can be done based on one of the 2 Knowledge Generation and application Lines (KGAL) developed by the BAC Professors. Also, students participate in national or international mobility programs with the opportunity to get a scholarship granted by CONAHCYT.

One of other academic activities that students have to do to accomplish their professionalization, is to present their Intervention Projects and their progress in several forums, congresses with a ISBN registration and/or publishing an article in a recognized journal with a ISSN registration.

Once all the educational experiences have been passed, and with the 109 credits that conform this postgraduate study program, the presentation and defense of the thesis is carried out in front of an evaluation board, being this the last requirement to obtain the grade of Master in Learning Management.
