Thank you for visiting the website for the Doctorate in Chemical Biological Research offered by the Universidad Veracruzana. This Doctorate focuses on scientific research and technological development, in improving the health conditions of the population and the environment.

The main objective of our Program is to train human resources at the doctoral level with the skills to carry out innovative and quality chemical-biological research, capable of integrating chemistry into biological systems in an interdisciplinary manner, to generate basic and/or applied knowledge, and contribute to the solution of problems in the areas of health, food or environmental sustainability.

The Doctorate in Chemical Biological Research is organized as a departmental academic-administrative program in the area of Health Sciences in the Veracruz-Boca de Río region. The goal is to optimize and make compatible the physical and human resources, spaces and equipment of the Faculty of Bioanalysis, headquarters of the program, and the participating departments, such as: the Faculties of Medicine, Nutrition and Bioanalysis and the Institutes of Medical Biological Research (IIMB), and the Institute of Forensic Medicine. The optimization of spaces and equipment offers postgraduate students an adequate infrastructure for carrying out research projects that are the object of their scientific training and obtaining a doctoral degree.
