Mission
To train specialists in the promotion of reading in various media and in an integral way, with a creative attitude, that allows them to design, implement and evaluate programs of reading promotion, with a sense of solidarity and humanism, to contribute the development of reading and writing practices at the state and national level.
Objective
The graduates of the Specialization will have the skills that allow them to design, implement, evaluate and improve programs for the promotion of reading in various media and contexts. That is, programs that form autonomous readers capable of communicating orally and written effectively.
It is a professionalizing specialization, lasting one year (two semesters).
The curriculum is designed to develop specialists who acquire the competencies for program design with group integration activities organizing strategies that have participator
y approaches; specialists with the necessary theoretical support and the tools that allow them to successfully implement these programs in specific communities respecting the social and cultural context of each community; self-critical specialists in constant evaluation process and subject to a philosophy of continuous improvement as part of their professional practice.
