The research lines of the Master Degree in Nutrition and Quality of Life program are divided into two main axes:
FOODS AND NUTRITION
Foundation: Once progress was made in understanding the energetic and nutritional requirements of the population, the new challenges of food and nutrition are geared towards the prevention and control of disease, through recent advances in the discipline, to improve the individual health and well-being.
Line of research focused on the main food and nutrition problems that need to be solved in the region and in the country.
As well as the development of proposals with an integral approach, that improves the health needs and quality of life of people.
INTEGRAL HEALTH
Foundation: Evidently, in interventions that purport to impact on the quality of life of individuals and populations, it is important to have a multidisciplinary approach that favors understanding and integral attention to complex nutrition and health problems.
Knowledge generation and application line focused on multidisciplinary and integrative work, that based on scientific evidence, proposes strategies of communication, education and intervention to improve the health of the population, contributing to decision making and improving the quality of life.
