Elections in three american countries
 

The political, economic, and cultural impacts of the recent elections in Canada, Mexico, and the United States: perspectives from three nations, will be the topic for the Ohio Canadian Studies Roundtable this year. The campuses of the University of Akron in Ohio, Universidad de las Americas Puebla, Mexico,and the University of Windsor, Canada will be linked in a virtual environment.

The conference will be held Friday, April 12, 2002, beginning at 1:305:00 p.m. Speakers addressing all three perspectives will be present at each campus,and will interact with each other as well as audience participants throughout the entire afternoon. The keynote address will be given by Anthony De Palma, the author of "Here: A Biography of the New North American Continent. Those interested in attending the conference at any of the three locations
